Community Center Pavilion
The Bear Community Center and Pavilion was opened in the Fall of 2001, it is an outstanding addition to the Bear River Greenway. The area is very popular and books quickly. A variety of events are always being held in the building, including; Weddings, Meetings, Trainings, Retreats, Family Reunions, Christmas Parties, Birthday Parties, Graduation Parties, Baby Showers, Eagle Scout Presentations, Fishing Days, Weed Pulls, Parks & Recreation Activities, Class Reunions, and Memorial Services, just to name a few. The building is not only very functional; it is a beautiful building in an exceptional setting.

Rental Fees and User Policies

Building Rental Fees:
Building Rental Fee includes use of lobby, meeting room, serving kitchen & use of restrooms.
Private Groups (Family, Company, Business, etc.)
User Fee: $100 Per Day
Private Non Profit Groups (Scouts, Church Groups, Service Groups etc.)
User Fee: $50 Per Day
Public Non Profit Groups (Public Agencies, City, County, School District etc.)
User Fee/Shelter Fee: No Charge Per Day
Note: Rental fees will only be waived for No Profit Group activities that are within the Agencies “Scope of Services”, as determined by the Director.
Cleaning and Damage Deposit: Minimum $150, or as determined by Director
Alcohol Permit Fee: $10

BEAR COMMUNITY CENTER BUILDING USER REQUIREMENTS:
BEAR Community Center Building Max Occupancy 60 Class Room, 20 Lobby
No refunds will be issued for reservations that are cancelled. Credits may be given
Building keys will be checked out one (1) day in advance and keys must be returned no later
than (3) three days after the reservation.
Cleaning & Damage Deposit is due one (1) week prior to reservation. Deposit will be returned
after inspection and key is returned.
$25 fee will be charged, if doors are not shut and locked after use. $10 Key Replacement
Fee will be charged for any lost keys.
Groups are required to clean & secure the building as listed on the “Building Check Off List”
attached, before leaving the building.
No frying or cooking of foods is permitted in the kitchen or in the fireplace. The kitchen is a
warming and serving kitchen only.
No Smoking in building. No Ice Skates permitted in the building or restrooms. NO Balloons
or Streamers in Building.
Public telephone service is not available.
You must be authorized above to use the fireplace & you must provide your own firewood. No
chopping of wood inside the Building.
Rest Rooms are available to the general public and other groups reserving the picnic shelter or
BEAR building.
The BEAR Greenway and Building CLOSES at 11:00 p.m. Hours may be extended if
authorized and approved on this Facility Use form.
All approved reservations/permit forms must be in the possession of the person in charge at the
time of the activity.
Alcohol Permit is required to consume alcohol in the building. City Open Container Law in
effect.
Any misuse or damage to the building, furniture, appliances, grounds, trees, sprinklers or
structures, failure to clean up and secure the Building, any and all repair & replacement costs will be the responsibility of the applicant/person responsible as named above.
Reservations are accepted for use of the building only, and do not include the sole use of the
any other BEAR Project facility.
Any “Special Use” of the building other than a meeting, meal or reception, that is not specified
and approved on this form is not permitted.
No Fireworks are allowed on the BEAR Project, except by permit.
Rest Rooms
To protect against vandalism, restrooms will only be open when supervised for special events. A Porta- John will be available for general use, when the area is not supervised.
